On Friday night, the Miami Dolphins faced off against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a battle for state supremacy.
The Dolphins have a major question at the quarterback position. Miami signed Ryan Fitzpatrick to a deal, but also traded for former Arizona Cardinals quarterback Josh Rosen.
Friday night, both were in action attempting to lock down the starting role.
Fitzpatrick struggled to complete passes, but made the highlight of the night when he trucked a defender.
Instead of running out of bounds, Fitzpatrick decided to take the contact from the Buccaneers defensive back head on.
The former Ivy-league star won out in the end.

Fitzpatrick finished the night 3-of-9 passing for just 20 yards.
Rosen, on the other hand, completed 10-of-18 passing for 102 yards. Neither looked like an elite NFL quarterback, leaving a tough decision for head coach Brian Flores.
It would make sense for the Dolphins to see what they have in Rosen before leaning on the 2020 NFL draft for a quarterback.
